Floating Archives

Floating Archives is a canoe-based and floating public art intervention on the lower Schuylkill River in Philadelphia, where hand-drawn animations based on archival photographs and etchings are projected from the canoe to an attached screen to re-imagine the labor, leisure, and obscured histories of this waterway from 1800 to today. In collaboration with the Penn Program in the Environmental Humanities I will be completing and performing this project in September 2018
