Wish Booth

Using a web-scraping program, Wish Booth accesses NASA’s All Sky Fireball Network to download the previous night’s recordings of meteorites flying over the United States. The grainy, black and white videos are compiled into one super-cut of shooting stars and played on a screen on the ceiling of the inside of the booth. A recliner, dried grasses, and a field recording of a summer night by Marg Herder create an atmosphere of reminiscent of an evening in July.
